2025 Summer Subscriptions
Musical experiences that continue to resonate long after: through our summer subscriptions, you can ensure ahead of time that you will have tickets to experience internationally sought-after classical music stars – and you moreover benefit from our subscription discount. The “Festival Fever” subscription allows you to choose three concert highlights on three consecutive days to suit your own taste. You also have the option to choose a suite of five concerts each using our two new Flex subscriptions. The summer subscriptions series can be purchased immediately and remain available up to 31 January 2025.
Exploring the theme “Open End,” the Summer Festival will again bring the very top musicians of the classical music world to Lucerne over a period of nearly five weeks, from 12 August to 14 September 2025. Enjoy the world’s finest orchestras, acclaimed stars, and outstanding soloists. The violist Tabea Zimmermann and performer Winnie Huang will appear as our “artistes étoiles,” and our composer-in-residence will be Marco Stroppa. The Lucerne Festival Orchestra will appear in no fewer than five major symphonic programs, with Music Director Riccardo Chailly, Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Andrés Orozco-Estrada, and, for the first time, Sir Simon Rattle conducting the ensemble. Among its varied offerings, the Lucerne Festival Academy will celebrate the 100th birthday of its founder, Pierre Boulez. Information on Ordering:
The Summer Subscriptions are only for individual customers and may be purchased exclusively for the price categories I–IV. They can be ordered online starting now until 31 January 2025 at the latest. Orders will be processed in February 2025 in the order in which they are received. Categories are subject to availability.
