The Israeli video artist Tal Rosner, who was born in Jerusalem in 1978, works closely with musicians, theater makers, and fashion brands. His most recent video works include Reich’s Tehillim (Barbican Centre), Neuwirth’s Le Encantadas (IRCAM/Centre Pompidou), and Scriabin’s Prométhée (Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra). In 2021, he conceived Mythos, an all-Sibelius program, for the Hanover Staatsoper. In 2019, he video designed and co-directed Wagner’s Die Walküre at the Opéra National de Bordeaux and participated in numerous theater and dance productions, including at the Royal Court and Sadler’s Wells Theatres and the Royal Danish Playhouse. In the commercial field, he has developed video works for such fashion houses as Louis Vuitton, Marni, and Telefar, as well as for tours by the Pet Shop Boys and the Rolling Stones. In 2008 he received for his title sequence for the TV series Skins the BAFTA Award.
