Michaela Dickgiesser, born on February 2, 1960, in Heidelberg, studied the humanities in Karlsruhe. Subsequently, she enjoyed a successful career for many years as Managing Director and shareholder of an internationally active brokerage firm in the insurance industry. Since 2021, she has held significant responsibility as Head of Business Development at MRH Trowe AG Holding in Frankfurt. Alongside her entrepreneurial career, Michaela Dickgiesser has been deeply committed to music and culture from an early stage. Since 2017, she has been teaching as a Visiting Professor at the Karlsruhe University of Music. For her outstanding contributions to society and culture, she was awarded the Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany in 2018. At the heart of her engagement remains the promotion of excellent musical education, as well as the support of institutions that recognize and actively promote the societal relevance of music.
