Lucerne Festival Forward 2024 – A look back

Three days devoted entirely to contemporary music – that was Lucerne Festival Forward 2024.

The Lucerne Festival Contemporary Leaders (a group of alumni from the Lucerne Festival Academy network) put together a total of four concerts as well as a family concert and a sound installation with accompanying workshops. They were joined by violinist Patricia Kopatchinskaja, who acted as both the soloist and co-curator of two of the concerts. The result? "A confoundingly contemporary program", according to the NZZ.
